Progress on my realistic wings for my Tobias cosplay from ANIMORPHS. This is the white layer for one wing; have the other wings’ white layer done as well.

These are both primary feathers (20 on each wing) and secondary feathers. (16 on each wing)

Working on tracing/cutting out the brown top layer of them before we can begin painting and assembly of the harness and stuffs. <3

• Reason for Being Hated: A coward, is an asshole to the other Animorphs, gets in the way of Jake/Rachel, only cares about himself, is an overall underdeveloped character.

This quote.  When I read “The Test” (I was in eighth grade, if I remember right) this little block of text was burned into my brain.  It helped me understand how torture works, and when I began to read about post-traumatic stress disorder, this quote kept coming back to me again and again and again. 

Animorphs’ consistent portrayal of PTSD as suffered by its characters was one of the most influential things I read growing up, and these three paragraphs are by far the most memorable and well-written example.
