Things Are Happening!

I’ve started 2 new projects this week and the first is knitting a sweater for my sister.

I love challenges so when I first started knitting last summer and Amy asked for a sweater as a birthday present I agreed right away.  Well, with the addendum that it probably wouldn’t be finished anytime soon.  So I bought the yarn on her birthday (in October) and started knitting it this past Sunday!  That’s soon enough right?

Anyway, to celebrate getting this sweater started I’ve decided to finally start a knitting/arts&crafts blog.  It’s something I’ve been thinking of for a while but I wasn’t sure if it was worth doing.  It’s called IllusionaryBeauty, so please follow it if you’d like to see pretty pictures of knitting and stuff :) I’ll probably put some cosplay type stuff there too once I start working on that.

As for the second thing, I’ve started a 4 week work out program.  I’m not really one for constantly tracking my progress online but I might do weekly updates.  My weight isn’t really a huge deal for me, but I do have about 50 lbs I want to lose (pretty skirts, punk/goth clothes, and midriff baring cosplays being my main motivator) so lets just see how well this works!
